Opal Birmingham One Student Accommodation in Birmingham
Trigram Properties worked with specialist student housing developer, Opal, to gain planning consent for the development of an 18 storey tower containing student accommodation. The site was acquired at tender on a conditional basis from the Optima Community Association. Planning consent was granted for an 18 storey tower comprising 604 student bed spaces, swimming pool, gym and internet café. Local residents benefited from access to the pool and the gym and the provision of additional external parking facilities. The application followed a long period of consultation with local residents and has achieved a landmark building that was opened in 2007.
